NOTE: Another tool that can be used to copy ISO image onto USB stick is Rufus
Create USB installation medium (IGEL OS)
- Enable Storage Hotplug (Devices > Storage Devices > Storage Hotplug)
- Plug USB thumb drive in IGEL OS device (auto mounted in /media folder)
- Determine
/dev
mount point (lsblk -p) - Unmount disk (umount /dev/diskname)
- Copy ISO image to USB device:

Create USB installation medium (Appe MacOS)
1) Install USB drive
2) Open Terminal
3) Find device mount point (diskutil list
)
% diskutil list

4) Unmount USB drive (diskutil unmount /dev/diskX
)
% diskutil unmountdisk /dev/disk2
Unmount of all volumes on disk2 was successful
% ls

5) Copy ISO image to USB drive (sudo dd if=OSC-file.iso of=/dev/rdiskX bs=1m
